Here is more information as to what Academy & Classic soccer is about and the cost.
Academy soccer is for kids in the 8-10u age group. They would play on Saturday mornings in the fall (late August/early September for 8 weeks) and Spring (end of April thru June). Academy teams will practice in Seymour or Freedom 1-2 nights a week. The cost for 8u is around $88 per season with a $39 discount for both seasons PLUS the cost of a team jersey. The jersey will consist of just a shirt with our logo and number on the back. This jersey then the child can keep and use it year after year until they outgrow it. The cost for 10u is around $125 each season with a $54 discount for both seasons PLUS the cost of the jersey as well. There is also a $50 volunteer fee that gets collected upfront and once you volunteer 2 hours, you get that money reimbursed back to you. The academy teams play more competitive teams and will travel from Green Bay to Oshkosh to play either 1 or 2 games each Saturday morning. Game times are usually between 8am and 11am. Coaches are PAID at the academy level.
Classic soccer is for kids in the 11u and up age groups. This would be for kids who either played academy and loved it and want to keep going with more competition or for kids who played rec soccer who also want more competition. If you play classic soccer for TASK, you will NOT be able to play rec soccer for TASK in the spring. Classic soccer games in the fall start late August/early September and go for 8 weeks. Games will be played on Saturdays or Sundays. Some games will be home in Freedom or Seymour, while others will be away in cities like Green Bay, Kaukauna, Kimberly, Appleton, Neenah, Oshkosh, etc. The cost for classic soccer depends on the age group. It ranges from $215/year for 11u up to $275/year for 17u. Classic teams also need to pay for their own jersey (home and away shirt, shorts & soccer socks). This about $80ish. If the team wants to do any tournaments, that is also an added cost. There is also a $100 volunteer fee that is collected upfront for Classic players. This is reimbursed back to you once you volunteer 2 hours of your time. Coaches are also PAID at the classic level.

After this fall Middle School soccer season is completed, Middle School soccer will be played THRU the school in SPRING as a coed sport starting Spring of 2023 for kids in grades 6-8!!!!!! Your child should be getting an email survey from school this week. Make sure they fill out that they would possibly be interested in playing soccer this spring thru school!!
While TASK loved to have the middle school program, it’s been getting harder and harder for us to find teams that play in the fall that are local to us. This is a great opportunity for our youth soccer players to continue playing and for those kids that have never played soccer before a chance to try it out for FREE!!!
THANK YOU to everyone who has coached the teams thru the years, to the parents for driving your kids to/from their games (kids will now get to ride the bus to/from games :)) and to the refs who were there to ref our games thru out the years. TASK great appreciates everyone’s effort over the years.
Registration for the Middle School soccer program is OPEN! The cost is $70/child. The middle school program consists of children going into 5th thru 8th grades. TASK still has 35 tickets available to Packers Family Night this coming up Saturday night. Tickets are $10 with $4 from every ticket going back to TASK. The tickets are in section 104, row 50’s. If you are interested in any, please contact Sarah @ smj42581@aol.com. All tickets are mobile this year so once payment is received they will be emailed to you.
Unfortunately due to low registration numbers, teams needing to back out and lack of volunteers, we have decided to cancel our 3v3 tournament for this year. We have also decided that going forward we will not be hosting a 3v3 tournament in the upcoming years. Thank you to everyone who has participated and helped out over the past 7 years!!
The first raffle calendar drawing is TONIGHT!! Make sure to hand in all calendars and money tonight at the concession stand by 7pm to be entered into the first drawing. If you need more calendars, those are also available at the concession stand.
TASK is still looking to fill many coaching positions for the rec program. These are volunteer only positions and if you have a child(ren) playing, it counts towards your volunteer time!! We currently need:
6u – 3 head coaches & 2 assistant coaches – Practices are Mondays 530-630 with games on Wednesdays from 530-630. The season starts on May 3 and ends June 30.
8u – 5 head coaches & 7 assistant coaches – Practices are Mondays 630-730 with games on Wednesdays from 630-730. The season starts on May 3 and ends June 30.
10u – 1 head coach & 3 assistant coaches – Practices are Wednesdays 530-630 or 630-730 with games on Mondays from 530-630 or 630-730. The season starts on May 3 and ends June 28.
12u GIRLS -1 assistant coach. Practices are Sundays from 530-7 or 7-830. Games are Mondays. Game start times vary between 530-7. This age group travels to the Fox Valley/Green Bay area for 5 games and has 5 games at home.
12u BOYS – 1 head coach & 1 assistant coach. Practices are Sundays from 530-7 or 7-830. Games are Tuesdays. Game start times vary between 530-7. This age group travels to the Fox Valley/Green Bay area for 5 games and has 5 games at home.
14u GIRLS -1 assistant coach. Practices are Sundays from 530-7 or 7-830. Games are Tuesdays. Game start times vary between 530-7. This age group travels to the Fox Valley/Green Bay area for 5 games and has 5 games at home.
14u BOYS – 1 head coach & 1 assistant coach. Practices are Sundays from 530-7 or 7-830. Games are Thursdays. Game start times vary between 530-7. This age group travels to the Fox Valley/Green Bay area for 5 games and has 5 games at home.
