Coaching Information

If anyone is interested in coaching a rec team this year. This information is for you!!!!

First off, all coaches who have a current background check (needs to be completed once every 2 years) and has taken a coaching class, will be refunded half of their child’s fees after the season is completed if they coach the entire season.

TASK will reimburse you for the background check and the coaching class.

Background check is $15. You will need to register your son/daughter for soccer and then add yourself as a volunteer. Once that is done and we get a notification we can add you to a team and then you will receive an email on how to do a background check.

You will want to take a Grassroost Course (In-Person if possible) for whatever age you will be coaching. 4v4 would be 6U & 8U, 7v7 is 10U, 9v9 is 11U & 12U and 11v11 is 13U and up. There are a lot of classes available that are local between now and the end of April. Register early because classes do fill up!

7v7 class in Appleton on January 27. Woodland School. Class is 8am – noon

7v7 class in Neenah on April 7. Neenah High School. Class is 8am – noon

9v9 class in Appleton on January 27. Woodland School. Class is 130pm – 5pm
